Context
Cosmetic care brand founded in Conakry, sold in institutes, pharmacies, and by recommendation. A loyal clientele, a product whose efficacy is judged over time, and no formalized brand story.
Challenge
Cosmetics are sold everywhere with the same arguments: transformation promises, before/after, immediate results. Loos Beauty had the exact opposite to defend — a treatment whose effect depends on regularity, not miracles. A truthful but non-spectacular argument that is difficult to convey in 15 seconds without sounding like a lecture.
Approach
We moved away from product demonstration in favor of storytelling, using a 'sadvertising' tone. A daughter on a video call with her mother searches her vanity for her skin secret; various hypotheses flash as inserts. What she finds isn't a new product but a worn, half-finished jar of Loos, kept for years. The answer comes in the signature: 'The secret is consistency.' The product only appears in the final shot, and its wear-and-tear is the proof.
Results
A 15-second brand film with French voiceover, where the product benefit — consistency rather than a miracle — is conveyed through narrative rather than claims. The final packshot provides the brand's key visual, used as the catalog cover.
